Samples
In the interest of efficiency, we have broken down our media samples into two categories: Images and Audio
Either page may take a little longer to load, (particularly if you are still blessed with a dial-up or slow DSL connection). The graphics images are reduced dramatically from their higher resolution files, the audio files are also data-crushed to within an inch of their lives (viva MP3!) to enable more convenient data transfer rates. These are on-line examples, and pale in comparison to the extremely high resolution of the original files. We want you to be aware of the difference.
By way of example, below left is an example of a greatly reduce image. Below right is a very small section of the actual image, showing true size. (The drop is approximately 6mm in diameter. The image within the drop is the inverted reflection of dogs and buildings behind the icicle.)
